How is laboro.uk funded?
Currently all the costs of running laboro.uk are covered by phpdev.uk, Paul's web development business. For now it is a learning experience, a marketing tool, and something that is used internally at phpdev.uk.
Will laboro.uk be free forever?
There are currently no plans to charge for laboro.uk, but this may change in the future. If charges are brought in, any existing users will be given at least 12 months to decide whether to convert to a paid account or delete their data.
Do you really delete data?
Yes, if you choose to delete data, or your whole account, it is removed from the live system immediately, and will disappear from our backups automatically after 30 days.
Can freelancers outside the UK register?
Yes, and most of the functionality is applicable in other areas of the world. laboro.uk is aimed at UK freelancers though, and this will drive the development of future features.
